Quality Assurance

GMR Agri Tech (P) Limited has an excellent laboratory for necessary testing purposes. We have a team of efficient and experienced quality control inspectors who monitor the quality aspects thoroughly. The raw materials like coir fiber pith (coconut coir/coco peat/coir fiber dust) undergo various processing works which includes washing and drying. 

All drying works are taken care of by our labourers. We ensure that all processing works are done in a hygienic manner and regulated by our supervisors. Before dispatch, each block of product is made to undergo tests  like E.C level, P.H. level and moisture tests to ensure that the finest materials reach the doorstep of our customer.

Our Processes

At our factory situated in the coastal area of Kanyakumari, we make use of the most modern methods of production and latest technology in order that our products confirm to high international standards. We have easy accessibility to coconuts as we are surrounded by 50,000 hectares of coconut farms around our factory. Special machines are used for each of the products to ensure high quality processing. Our well built infrastructure enables us to meet peak demands effectively and we have an average monthly production rate of  200MT.

Well defined procedures are followed in our processes which include pith collection, washing, drying, sieving/screening and vinover. All processing works are conducted under strict quality guidelines established by the company. Our professionals handle our processes effectively, thus ensuring that we meet all deadlines on time.
